Errol Morris tells the story of the Abu Ghraib prison scandal through interviews with the people who took and posed in the photos that made it famous. I kind of feel like we've all heard the story by now. However, Errol Morris definitely puts a fresh spin on it.
This is just weird....but absolutely captivating. Errol Morris' second feature is a beautifully simple documentary featuring interviews with the infinitely entertaining people of Vernon, Fl. The obvious appeal of this Errol Morris masterpiece is the inherently funny and creepy subject material - Pet Cemeteries. Gates of Heaven delivers on both fronts, it's funny and creepy. However, as you would expect from Morris, it's way way more.
